[21a-PA1-8] Nonelectrical poling behavious of FTC choromophores nonlinear optical

No electrically poling effects were investigated for phenylene vinylene thiophene vinylene bridge with dihydroxy ethyl amine and CF₃ substituted 2-Dicyanomethylene-3-Cyano-4, 5, 5-trimethyl 2,5,-dihydrofuran.Our experimental results demonstrated that the polymethyl methacrylate thin films doped with the chromophores exhibited second harmonic generations just by thermally annealing even without applications of electric fields.
