As acetic acid produced in a photovoltaic (PV) module causes decreasing of its electrical performance, evaluation of dynamics of acetic acid in a module is necessary. A combined test with the ultraviolet (UV) irradiation and the damp-heat (DH) test has been proposed because it is concidered to imitate environment of on-site tests. We proposed tin film sensors for evaluation of dynamics of acetic acid in PV module during the combined test in datail. The results of detecting acetic acid by tin film sensors during the combined test with 0 to 1500 hours UV test (75 ℃, 30% RH, 85 W/m2) and 7400 hours DH test (85 ℃, 85% RH) are reported. As a result, we comfirmed that acetic acid production was more accerelated as UV test time was longer.
