[21p-234A-2] Accurate classification of microalgal cells by frequency-division-multiplexed imaging flow cytometry
Keywords:imaging flow cytometry
Imaging flow cytometry is a method for analyzing a large population of cells with high accuracy, but its applications are limited due to its low cell throughput. Here, we overcome this issue using frequency-division-multiplexed imaging flow cytometry and hence report accurate classification of microalgal species. We experimentally confirmed that 6 microalgal species were classified with a high accuracy of 99.5%. Our method has a wide range of applications other than classification of microalgal species.
