In this study, I attempted to synthesize gold nano particle with small particle size by irradiating plasma to HAuCl4. For the experiments, gelatin was used as a protective agent, and the particle size distribution was measured by changing the protective agent amount and plasma irradiation time. As a result, the distribution had a peak at 6.5 nm when the plasma irradiation time was 1 minute and the protective agent amount was 10 mg/mL.However the time interval of isolation of AuNPs from the plasma irradiated solution may influence the particle diameter. When examining the result of changing the time interval of the isolation procedure a change in data was observed. The sample immediately after the plasma irradiation has a peak at 6.5 nm and the average particle diameter becomes 6.55 nm, and the particle diameter can be made uniform. Therefore, in this study, it was found that shortening the plasma irradiation time and performing centrifugal separation immediately after irradiation can make the particle size uniform.
