CIGS-based solar cells have emerged as one of the most promising candidates for high-efficiency and low-cost solar cells. To investigate the device physics of CIGS solar cell, we have fabricated single crystalline CIGS layers on GaAs (001) substrates using a MBE method, and the layers are confirmed to have high crystalline quality.
