[17p-B201-1] pMAIRS reveals molecular orientation of every chemical group in an organic thin film

Takeshi Hasegawa1 (1.ICR, Kyoto Univ.)

Keywords:pMAIRS, organic thin film, molecular orientation

A cutting-edge technique of p-polarized multiple-angle incidence resolution spectrometry (pMAIRS) is introduced. pMAIRS enables us to reveal the structure of a thin film in terms of molecular orientation of each chemical group when it is coupled with infrared spectroscopy. pMAIRS is robust to the surface roughness of the thin film, and the molecular orientation is quantitatively revealed without using optical parameters.
