[17p-B203-3] Development of CaF2-PDMS diffusing / transparent material and numerical simulation

We proposed novel type of UV wavelength filter based on polydimethylsiloxane matrix. CaF2 micro particle was mixed into uncured PDMS and it was cured in film form of 1 mm thick. The difference of the refractive index dispersions between CaF2 and PDMS can turn the diffusing film into transparent film at specified wavelength in UV region. The numerical calculation of Monte-Carlo has been performed in the case of the slight difference on the refractive indices, by using new random walking model with slight refraction.
