[17p-C103-1] [INVITED] Exploring two-dimensional atom-layered materials from Silicene to Xenes

Noriaki Takagi1 (1.Univ. of Tokyo)

Keywords:silicene, atom-layerd material, surface

Exploring two-dimensional atom-layerd materials is hot triggerd by the fabrication of graphene. These materials are called Xenes in which X atoms form honeycomb lattice. We present the current status of reseraches mainly on silicene, one-atom thick honeycomb sheet of Si atoms.
