During nanopowder (NPs) synthesis process using inductively coupled thermal plasma (ICTP), precursor particles are generated by chemical reaction between feedstock vapor and reactive plasma gas in the ICTP. Thus, it is important to estimate spatial distribution of precursor particle in the ICTP torch in order to clarify NPs synthesis processes. This report described spatial estimation result of number density of TiO molecule in the ICTP torch during Fe3+-doped TiO2 NPs synthesis.
