Experiments on high-voltage pulse discharge in pressurized water using an ignition coil were conducted for the purpose of developing method of stable plasma generation in pressurized water and clarifying its plasma characteristics. The pressure was changed from atmospheric pressure up to 1 MPa. With the pressure increased, the continuous spectrum with peaks at 430 and 270 nm got intense remarkably in the emission spectra of the pulse discharge, while the OH (A-X) emission with peak at 309 nm got weak. The excitation temperature decreased from 5000 K to 3000 K between atmospheric pressure and 1 MPa, which was almost the same trend as in high frequency plasma in water.
