For practical applications, the thermoelectric materials should be stable at the operation temperature in air. In particular, oxidation at the surface should be prevented as possible. In this presentation, we will show results of surface coating on the thermoelectric materials such as Co-Sb skutterudite, where we found certain coating significantly enhances stability in air even at 600℃.
