キーワード:Polyoxometalate, Pulse generation, single-walled carbon nanotubes
Noise fluctuations in signal processing provides significant advantages in the development of brain-inspired electronic device. Low-dimensional carbon nanomaterials, such as carbon nanotubes, are good candidate for neural membrane devices owing to large electrical noise. Conjugated molecular wires containing single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNT) and porphyrin (por)-polyoxometalate (POM) complex, SV2W10O40[H4t-BuTPP] and SV2W10O40[H4TPP], which exhibit reversible multi-electron redox properties has been demonstrated to provide tunable current fluctuation of pulse generation in order to accomplish complex computational task of brain computing.Firstly, we fabricated a random network of SWNT complex by using SV2W10O40[H4t-BuTPP] and SV2W10O40[H4TPP], respectively. In both complexes, one POM molecule is interacted by two non-equivalent tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP) molecules to compare with symmetric por-POM. Time dependence of current pass through the network showed that pulse generated under certain conditions as follows. The network of SV2W10O40[H4t-BuTPP] and SWNT complex can generate positive pulse at 50 V (Figure 1 (a)) and 75 V (Figure 1 (b)). On the other hand, the network of SV2W10O40[H4TPP] and SWNT complex can generate negative pulse at 15 V (Figure 2 (a)) and positive pulse at 100 V (Figure 2 (b)) indicating POM works by carrying charges and release the electron at 15 V, while this molecule induced hole to the network system at 100 V. Since general POM (PMo12O48) only show positive pulse at 150 V, H4t-BuTPP case show similar behavior to POM at 50 V and H4TPP at 100 V which might be caused by electric property of applied voltage.
