[17p-F314-2] Influence of localized state on photoluminescence dynamics in CdTe/CdS quantum dots

Keywords:quantum dot, optical property, temperature dependence

We have investigated the temperature dependence of optical properties in CdTe and CdTe/CdS quantum dots (QDs) prepared by hydrothermal method. The results of the temperature dependence of the photoluminescence (PL) decay time and Stokes shift show that multiple exciton states are involved in the PL dynamics. Furthermore, the analysis of the temperature dependence of the PL decay profiles based on a phenomenological rate equation model revealed that the localized state to CdTe/CdS interface contributes to the PL dynamics of CdTe/CdS QDs.
