We report the synthesis, characterization, and solar cell application of new wide-bandgap p-type semiconducting polymers including pyrenobisthiadiazole (PyTz) as a weak acceptor unit. Furthermore, we fabricated and characterized the PyTz polymer-based non-fullerene solar cells to evaluate its potential for high-performance solar cell materials and their structure-property relationship.
