磁気メモリや超高感度磁気センサーの実現に向けて、高スピン偏極な強磁性体金属材料の1つであるホイスラー合金が盛んに研究されてきた。しかし、ホイスラー合金を電極層に用いたMTJのTMR効果では、絶縁体障壁とのヘテロ接合界面領域においての交換結合の低下による、室温におけるTMR比の低下が大きな課題になっている。本研究では、遷移金属強磁性体とAg界面における交換結合定数を第一原理計算により解析した。
