[17p-P10-64] Generalized magneto-optical ellipsometry of quasi-periodic Fibonacci Fe-Pt multilayers

We experimentally investigated magnetic and magneto-optical (MO) properties of quasi-periodic Fe-Pt multilayers. The periodic and quasi-periodic multilayersamples were studied using generalized MO ellipsometry (GME). Notably, the spectrum of the Fe-Pt
inverse Fibonacci-modulated multilayers sample is strongly dependent on wavelength. Moreover, we observe a sign change in the Kerr rotation angle at approximately 775 nm. Contrastingly, the periodic Fe-Pt multilayers shows the Kerr roations about an order of magnitude smaller than those of the IFM sample.
