Keywords:Optical biosensor

We have developed a plasmonic silver plating method which can fabricate silver nanostructures on glass substrates by inducing reduction of silver ions selectively in regions irradiated by visible light. In this study, we have fabricated silver nanostructures in a grating pattern on substrates using laser two - beam interference. We then tried to develop a device to detect hydrogen peroxide utilizing the catalytic and optical properties of these nanostructures. We also investigated immobilization of proteins to the nanostructured substrate using microbubbles in liquid generated by infrared YAG laser irradiation.
