In photorefractive (PR) polymers, the control of carrier trapping is one of the most crucial issues. In this study, we use new PR composite including photoconducting triarylamine oligomer-insulating polymer blends. Two PR composites having different average molecular weight oligomers were prepared. We found that the PR composite having the photoconducting oligomer with lower average molecular weight showed an enhanced carrier trap density.
