[18a-D104-2] Wave number modulation of spin wave via magneto-elastic coupling
at the magnetic body interface
キーワード:Spin waves, Spin current, Elastic waves
Spin wave is collective precession motion of local magnetic moments propagating as a wave. In a magnetic materials, spins and lattice are coupled because the spins in the solid materials are fixed at lattice sites. The coupling hybridizes the elementary excitation of lattice and spins. Therefore, the modulation of spin-wave propagation is expected by incorporating the lattice degree of freedom, however, the direct observation of the modulation has yet to be reported.
In this research, we demonstrated the wavenumber modulation of the spin wave via magneto-elastic coupling and construct a phenomenological model of the conversion efficiency. We are going to discuss the detail of obtained conversion efficiency as a function of the angle of incidence of the spin waves.
