△ [18a-F104-8] Ambipolar Carrier Mobility in Alkyl-Substituted Phthalocyanine Thin Film Utilizing Photo-CELIV Method
Keywords:phthalocyanine, carrier mobility evaluation, photo-CELIV method
The ambipolar carrier mobility in the spin-coated films of hexyl-substituted phthalocyanine (C6PcH2), which is promising as a material in thin film electronical devices, has been studied by the photo-CELIV method. The obvious extraction current transient signals were successfully obtained by the efficient carrier generation at the interface with charge-separation layer of C60 or pentacene. The appropriate selection of charge-separation layer enabled to distinctively obtain the hole and electron current signals. Ambipolar carrier mobility was evaluated by the comparison of experimental results and numerical model taking the carrier generation at the interface and carrier diffusion during the delay time and extraction into account.
