Electrical-mechanical coupling between myocardial cells in the heart has received considerable attention in order to regulate the beat. However, direct mechanical stimulation on myocardial cell aggregations in a dish has not been applied to induce their extra beats and the beat transmission to the other aggregation. We present the enhanced cardiac beats by stimulations and discuss the preliminary results.
