[18a-G205-3] Optical Anisotropy and Electrical Properties of Phthalocyanine-Based Single-Crystalline Thin Film Grown via Solution-Mediated Polymorphic Transformation
Keywords:organic semiconductor, phthalocyanine, single-crystalline thin film
Non-peripherally alkyl-substituted phthalocyanines are solution-processable organic semiconducting materials, and the realization of high carrier mobility is theoretically predicted by selecting an appropriate crystal polymorphism. Carrying out a solvent vapor treatment to the thin film fabricated by a conventional solution process, the crystal-crystal phase transition based on the solution-mediated polymorphic transformation was promoted, resulting in the single-crystalline thin-film growth. The molecular packing structure in the single-crystalline thin film was clarified and the carrier mobility in the thin film was successfully determined by taking the column axis in the molecular stacking structure into consideration.
