[18a-P1-33] Introductory Education of Physics Experiment Using FEM Simulation

Tetsuya Kato1 (1.Chiba Univ.)

Keywords:FEM simulation, Physics experiments

Finite-Element-Method Simulation was utilized in introductory education of physics experiments for university students (2nd grade undergraduates) in a lesson of the science-teacher-training course and for high-school students in a lesson of a joint course in our university. These implementations are aimed for their understanding, as compactly as possible, of basic ideas and meanings of procedures in the experiments that will be needed in operations and analysis.
These days students are exposed to many kinds of simulation results graphics, so that such figures increase their interests of physics phenomena, especially when they see the graphics about the phenomena which they treat in physics experiments, or when they observe the results that were obtained by themselves through the simulation in their activities of changing parameters.
