[18a-P1-37] New student experiment using A/D and D/A conversion in engineering science laboratory of Chubu University.
Keywords:Digital technical education.
“Engineering Science Laboratory I, II” in Chubu Univ. is the classes for the 1st degree students of the College of Engineering to experience the basic manufacturing and to have interests in engineering experiments, even though they have not experienced such experiments. This year, we conducted in the “Engineering Science Laboratory II”, the new educational experiment for the A/D and D/A conversion which we had developed, for the first time. This experiment contains the A/D and D/A conversions (1) of the DC voltage, and (2) of the AC voltage. As a result, we found in conversion (1), that the conversion of the voltage into the LED pattern worked well, but there was difference between the analog power supply voltage and the conversion result. We found also in conversion (2), that the students could carry out easily to measure the sampling frequency, and to observe the Nyquist frequency, in the A/D and D/A conversion.
