本研究室では半導体量子井戸マイクロリングレーザの異なる隣接発振波長間での全光フリップフロップ動作とインバータ動作が同一のデバイスで実現できることを実証し，その動作原理として位相と利得の非線形性を考慮したモデルを構築した．今回，フリップフロップ動作とインバータ動作が切り替わる条件を実験的に求め，理論との比較を行った結果，バスライン導波路における位相変化が動作切り替わりに影響することを発見した．
