[18p-C204-4] Plasma-Enhanced Controlled Synthesis of Carbon Nanowalls and Their Nano-bio Applications
Keywords:Carbon nanowall, Plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition, nano-bio applications
Carbon nanowall (CNW) is one of carbon nanomaterials, which consists of multilayer-graphene sheets vertically standing on substrates. Owing to the high aspect ratio and large specific surface area caused by its unique three-dimensional structures, high electrical conductivity and physical/chemical robustness derived from graphene’s natures, and characteristic top-edge structures consisting of graphene edges, various types of applications are promising. In this presentation, we will offer a broad introduction about the CNW research from fundamentals of controlled synthesis of CNW based on diagnostics of reactive species to recent achievements of nano-bio applications.
