For the realization of semiconductor-based spintronics devices, such as a spin transistor, the development of a technique for efficient spin injection into semiconductors is of great importance. Especially, improving the conductivity mismatch between semiconductors and ferromagnetic metals and fabricating high-quality single-crystalline interfaces are highly required. In this presentation, we introduce our recent works using ferromagnetic materials compatible with Ge.
