[18p-F202-11] Application of Physically Unclonable Function to toy robots

Tetsufumi Tanamoto1, Takaya Satoshi1 (1.Toshiba R&D Center)

Keywords:Variations, Security, PUF

Physically Unclonable Function (PUF) is one of the important technologies where variations in semiconductor devices and circuits are used as a fingerprint of the devices. We propose our ring-oscillator based PUF, which can be used in many circuits. In particular, we show an application of our PUF to a communication between toy robots.
