As a material for organic thin-film solar cells, a fullerene derivative is attracting attention as an electron acceptor of a heterojunction. In order to improve the conversion efficiency, it is necessary to evaluate the dynamic carrier response such as the generation and transport of photoexcited carriers of these materials. We report THz wave radiation from fullerene (C60) using a Laser Terahertz Emission Microscope (LTEM) technique that is an imaging and spectroscopic tool for THz emissions from materials and devices excited by femtosecond laser pulses.
