[18p-P11-7] Ambipolar Carrier Transport of Non-peripherally Octahexyl-substituted Copper Phthalocyanine
Keywords:organic semiconductor, phthalocyanine, ambipolar carrier transport
Non-peripherally alkyl-substituted phthalocyanines have attracted much attention for the ambipolar and high carrier mobility, especially, the copper complex possesses unique electrical properties, that is, electrons are predominant carriers rather than holes. For clarifying the carrier transport mechanism, the molecular packing structure of the single crystal was investigated, and mobility calculation using a density functional theory was carried out. It is found that a rotation angle in plane existed between the nearest neighbor molecules and the predominant carrier was determined depending on the rotation angle.
