[18p-P13-9] Effects of composition on optical and electric properties of α-MnTe films

Compound semiconductor-type solar cells are very thinner than the conventional Si-type one due to its high light absorption coefficient. This wait saving of solar cell module contributes to further expanding them in various fields. Generally, CdTe is widely used in the compound semiconductor-type one. However, Cd exhibits toxic. Therefore, the development of Cd-free solar cell is necessary. In this research, we focus on α-MnTe as an alternative to CdTe. Thus, we evaluated its optical and electric properties and investigated its dependency on composition.
