Keywords:thermoelectric

The thermoelectric conversion cell is mainly based on the Seebeck effect, but utilizes the electromotive force caused by the temperature difference between the metal electrodes sandwiching the thermoelectric conversion layer. Therefore, it was necessary to devise a device structure for providing a temperature gradient between the electrodes.Although various approaches have been studied to realize thermoelectromotive force without temperature difference, there is still no effective solution yet.In this presentation, we report the results of evaluating the long-term continuous operation performance of a new type thermoelectric conversion cell using Ti - Sn mixture.
