I made Solar cells which were fabricated by replacing inorganic ligands I with different iodide salts (EMII, TBAI, MAI, NH4I) on the surface of PbS quantum dots (CQDs). For these samples, I measured transient open circuit voltage (OCVD) and photoelectric conversion characteristics . The photoelectric conversion efficiency increased in the order of EMII, TBAI, MAI, NH4I, and the value of effective carrier lifetime calculated from OCVD increased in the order of EMII, TBAI, NH 4I, MAI. This is considered to be due to the fact that the passivation effect on PbS CQDs increases in the above order, so that the defects on the CQDs surface are reduced and the carrier lifetime is prolonged.
