A surface plasmonic lens (PL) is one of the emerging photonic devices utilizing the surface plasmonic wave. The PL can generate a subwavelength size spot in the far field region by focusing the propagating light through the slits. In this study, we have improved the design parameter of the PL and further extended the focal length keeping subwavelength size focal spot. We will report the experimental results of the focusing characteristics of the PL and the practical fabrication process of the PL using nanoimprint lithography.
