To improve the performance of superconducting flux qubits, we developed the ferromagnetic Josephson junctions in the pi state. We systematically investigated the ferromagnet thickness and temperature dependences of the Josephson critical current, and observed the distinct behavior in the ferromagnetic Josephson junctions. We also confirmed that the experimental results were explained by the microscopic theory well.
