We have proposed and realized membrane Distributed-Reflector(DR) laser as light source for on-chip optical wiring on Large Scale Integrated circuit(LSI).In this research, wer investigeted the ridge membrane waveguide structure for further reduction of power consumption of membrane laser, and report the possibility of low power operation.
