We work on control and analysis of high harmonic generation (HHG) in solids induced by nano-enhanced electric field utilizing the design freedom of infrared-resonant nano-antenna. We observed higher and stronger harmonic generation (9th-order light at highest, with the efficiency ~10^(-13)) by irradiating Au antenna on ZnO crystal with femto-second laser pulse (2 um in wavelength) compared with bulk ZnO. In addition, we observed both odd and even (only odd) harmonics with antenna along c- (m-) axis, which indicates that nano-enhanced HHG reflects the symmetry of bulk HHG.
