Pb substitution for Bi site in Bi2212 is widely known to be effective for improving superconducting properties and carrier doping. However, effects of Pb doping on Bi2223 is hardly clarified except for effectiveness of promotion of phase formation. We attempted synthesis of heavily Pb doped Bi2223 sintered bulks and investigated physical properties of the bulks.
