Nanoscale structure and performance distribution of MDMO-PPV/PCBM oragnic solar cells that exhibit clear phase-separated structure in their active layers are characterized by multi-level light-modulated scanning tunneling spectroscopy and scanning tunneling microscope light emission spectroscopy. Correlation among PCBM cluster size, photocurrent, photovoltage and inner resistance appeared in the experimental result will be discussed.
