The development of simple blood separation technology is challenging problem for establishment of compact blood testing system. In this study, we are aiming to develop simple blood separation technology without the use of complex mechanism or structures. In this report, we report on the principle for the autonomous blood separation and plasma extraction on steadily rotating disk-shaped microdevice. The developed principle realize autonomous and require no complex machine and devices, therefore this is advantageous for the development of compact and low cost blood analyzer.
