In this study, we have focused on the development of biomimetic optical sensing devices using bacteriorhodopsin. In the previous study, we have reported inkjet patterning of the optical device via ink-jet patterning of bacteriorhodopsin using a material printer. We are trying to fabricate a visual information processing device by using the inkjet technique. Here, we report fabrication of visual sensing devices using the printing technique. We fabricated two visual sensing patterns, difference of Gaussian (DOG) and Gabor filters using the inkjet printer.
