[19a-P1-6] Development of high performance Pt nanoporous electrocatalyst

To reduce the cost of Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cell (PEFC), it is necessary to improve the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) activity of Pt catalyst and hence to reduce the Pt amount used in the cathode. In this study, high active nano-porous Pt catalyst is developed by mixing heterogeneous metal with Pt/C in reducing atmosphere and then dealloying via acid treatment. We further investigated the effect of annealing temperature and metal species on ORR activity.
