A single-shot phase-shifting technique using multiplexed phase gratings in incoherent digital holography is proposed for acquiring high-resolution holograms of moving objects. Multiplexed phase gratings presented here play the following three roles: dividing beams, modulating the curvature of spherical beams, and introducing different phase shifts. With the gratings, four individual holograms of a spatially incoherent light are formed on an image sensor. It is therefore possible to simultaneously capture four holograms and implement a phase-shifting technique. Simulations and experiments were conducted to verify our proposed concept. These results indicate that the proposed method allows one to simultaneously capture multiple holograms and reconstruct 3D images.
