[19a-P3-8] Possibility of anomalous refraction of circularly polarized light in moiré type metasurface with anisotropic distortion

In our previous research, it has been turned out that the local displacement of the structure in a moire type metasurface makes a kind of vector field reflecting the local anisotropy and the electromagnetic response of the metasurface is characterized by the topological phase appeared in the vector field. We will report that possibility of wideband circular polarized light generator and modulator by applying the moire type metasurface. The vector field appearing in a moire type metasurface in which an anisotropically distorted lattice structure is superposed on a regular lattice structure shows very similar distribution with a metasurface providing anomalous refraction of circularly polarized light. We expect that the moire type metasurface shows anomalous refraction of circularly polarized light as well.
