[19a-P6-56] Synthesis of Ni-Mo-S nanosheets @ nitrogen-doped graphene hybrid for dye sensitized solar cell

A novel Ni-Mo-S nanosheets decorated on the surface of nitrogen-doped graphene (NG) nanosheets were successfully synthesized by the one-step hydrothermal method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) peaks corresponded to the rhombohedral phase of NiMo3S4. The sharp peak at 26.1° indicated graphene formation. TEM analysis showed rectangle and square 2D Ni-Mo-S nanosheets were anchored homogeneously distributed on the surface of NG for Ni-Mo-S@NG sample. The cyclic voltammetry analysis of fabricated counter electrodes indicated that Ni-Mo-S@NG hybrid showed lower Epp (223 mV) and higher current density when compared to other counter electrodes (Pt (239mV) and NG (251 mV)). This results directly related to the enhancement of electrocatalytic activity towards the / redox reaction.Ni-Mo-S@NG showed better stability even after 100 cycles.
