Keywords:laser, polarization, fibrous tissue

In the past studies, it was found that the polarization characteristics of the tissue can be investigated because the transmitted light intensity of the linearly polarized He - Ne laser changes according to the running direction of the fibrous tissue. In this study, we considered the reflected laser from the tissue to include the polarization characteristics of the tissue, and examined the influence of the fibrous running direction on the reflected laser intensity. As a result, it was possible to know the polarization characteristics of fibrous structure even with reflected laser. Therefore, it was found that the running direction of fibrous structure can be monitored from reflected laser.
