Keywords:optical cavity, mode locking, laser Compton scattering

We are developing an optical resonant cavity which accumulates pulsed laser to realize the laser Compton scattered light source that is expected as a compact X-ray light source. Recently, we succeeded in stably accumulating CW laser in a high-finesse cavity by using a new optical system called self-resonating optical resonant cavity. We are now working on mode-locking that system to realize the pulsed laser storage.
