For the purpose of global environment measurement, information communication, and security application, we have researched mid-infrared superconducting hot electron bolometer mixers with nano-antenna. The complex surface impedances of the gold thin film under the cryogenic was evaluated, and by using the complex surface impedances, we already cleared that It is possible to design antennas and distributed circuits in the mid-infrared light region using the electromagnetic simulator. In this time, we fabricated MIR-HEBMs and evaluated the IF bandwidth and the mixer noise temperature. As a result, about 0.8 GHz as the IF bandwidth and the noise temperature of about 17,000 K (DSB) at 61 THz was obtained.
