[19p-B403-1] Consideration to Jc(H, θ) of (RE)BCO films containing relatively-large nanoprecipitates

Hirofumi Yamasaki1 (1.AIST)

Keywords:(RE)BCO thin films, flux pinning, nanoprecipitates

The author and coworkers found that relatively large nanoprecipitates produced broad Jc(θ) peaks centerd at the c-axis in YBCO thin films, which has been reasonably explained by a simple theoretical model that considers the direct summation of core pinning interactions and the angular dependence of the coherence length. Several research groups have recently observed flat Jc(θ) curves that are as high as Jc at H // ab in (RE)BCO thin films containing nanoprecipitates whose sizes are 1–3 times larger than the diameter of a normal core of a flux line. The author has considered the cause of such Jc(θ) curves.
