Keywords:twisted multifilamentary superconducting tape wires, electromagnetic coupling, sweeping magnetic fields

Electromagnetic coupling on twisted multifilamentary superconducting (SC) tape wires in the steady state under constantly ramping magnetic fields is theoretically investigated, supposing excitation/demagnetization of a MRI magnet. Taking account of response to the perpendicular field component and using the sheet approximation, the Maxwell equation on the two-dimensional curved SC tape surface is obtained. By solving the two-dimensional Maxwell equation together with the SC nonlinear resistivity, we numerically evaluated the current density distribution and the loss power on the curved tape surface.
